ACTION Services, a division of the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children, has begun a tradition of hosting Fun Fridays. Fun Fridays feature unique and diverse activities for the clients of ACTION Services to learn about our community and to meet individual programming goals. Aimee McClaren of Conway County Conservation Office was the featured speaker of this week’s Fun Friday, and she led clients through learning about insects and other animals that can be found in their own backyards. Together, they painted mold prints of locally found animals and discussed their importance to the web of life.
Renee McGhee, Site Director for ACTION Services says, “Fun Fridays are good way to reward our clients for a week of hard work in the ACTION Services Shredding Workshop and to provide authentic examples of life skills objectives in action. We are proud of all that is being accomplished here at ACTION Services!”
