County Extension Homemakers Clubs have chosen the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children as their annual project. Each year the ladies of EHC select a partner as a venue to build community and family within Conway County. Club representatives gather and carefully plan unique ways to be involved with their chosen organization over the next twelve months.
The Conway County Center for Exceptional Children operates two campuses in Conway County and one in Perry County, and its mission is to empower individuals with disabilities. Young children and adults are served through their individualized programs, and the partnership between EHC and CCCEC offers ways for the children and adults served by CCCEC to meet their programming goals in extended, fun ways.
Most recently, the New Horizons group of EHC designed activity packs for the children of Beginnings Preschool in Morrilton to take home to their families. Together, the children and their families can spend time enjoying the activities, promoting family and learning.
